Disease control (management) is very possibly the most important issue in the aquaculture industry, as diseases in aquatic animals can lead to food safety concerns. With this in mind, the R&D team in Grobest proposed the Gut Theory for aquatic animals by analogy with human health management. It was discovered that intestinal functions are the key to sound and solid immunity, and only by strengthening intestinal health can aquatic animals resist pressure and pathogen attacks from external environment, thus reducing unnecessary drug use, easing the burden on organisms and the environment, and eventually achieving sustainability in aquaculture.

Our team took inspiration from the ancient Chinese wisdom of fermentation techniques and modern biotechnology and developed a series of unique fermented products. The portfolio provides unique, multiple solutions for farmers by enhancing immune responses to different diseases. Immunity Enhance offers comprehensive biological protection to aquatic animals and help them weather the challenges brought by diseases.

Shrimp Tubules Comparison

  • Before using

    There were very few oil droplets at the tubules. ATM was observed. Shape was sharp.

  • While using

    An increasing number of oil droplets were observed at the tubules. ATM had been discharged. Shape became oval.

  • After using

     The tubules were full of oil droplets. No ATM was observed. Shape became rounder.

    Blurry spots of inflammation were observed in the intestine.

    The spots gradually turned clear and inflammation was reduced.
